Dolin Vermouth
This producer has used the same set of recipes since 1821. Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry is situated in the foothills of the French Alps. Dolin's products are known for their subtlety and understatement. Be aware that the "Blanc" (with the blue label) is sweetened and is commonly served as an aperitif. The "Dry" (green label) is the appropriate Martini vermouth. An ideal addition to the ardent cocktailier's bar.

Vergano Chinati
Mauro Vergano, a chemist by trade, has revived a long standing tradition of flavoring wines with herbs and spices. These potions, called Chinati, were historically produced by pharmacists who had access to rare herbs and made the concoctions as tonics. We now see chinati enjoyed as an aperitif of digestif. Vergano began his work as a hobbyist, and after 20 years of experimentation, has put his handmade products on the market. These are micro-produced, by hand, using organic wines and alcohols as the base.
The Americano is somewhat reminiscent of Campari but with more complexity. These flavors fade into a caramel and white chocolate finish.
Luli is made from a base of organic Moscoto. The color is slightly darker than a fino sherry. The flavors are reminiscent of exotic Christmas spices, dried orange peel and a soft, woodsy essence. Mildly bitter and sweet. Completely unique.

Averna Amaro
Another amaro, which basically means bitters. Again, not in the most bitter style. Nicely spicy with mild wormwood and caramel overtones. Supposedly developed by Sicilian monks as a tonic. Oh, sure. "I'm having another bit of stomach distress, Your Holiness. I'll just take a bottle or two of this back to my cell and I'll be fine in no time."

Fernet-Branca
This is an amaro, or digestif. It falls into the same family as Campari but a little more herbaceous. It is a recipe of 27 herbs picked in 4 continents and aged in oak casks for over a year. Usually it is had after dinner, straight, or before dinner with soda. It is also an increasingly popular ingredient in various cocktails
