| Absinthe: Absinthe is traditionally a distilled, highly alcoholic (45%-75% ABV) beverage. It is an anise-flavored spiritderived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia Absinthium, also called wormwood. Absinthe has a characteristic natural green colour but can also be colorless. It is often called "the Green Fairy". |

Absinthe Vieux Carre - USA
A hand crafted American Absinthe from Robert Cassell, the master distiller who brings us Bluecoat Gin. This is a complex, double distilled absinthe with an almost perfumy aroma of fresh herbs, fennel and anis. So smooth at 120 proof that you could sip it straight, but that would not be responsible behavior.

Kubler Absinthe - Switzerland
The true Swiss producer of Absinthe, Kubler has been making their product with the same formula in Val-de-Travers since 1863. Though not a green Absinthe, this is one of the most traditional products on the market.

Obsello Absinthe - Spain
Obsello is a grape based absinthe that has a somewhat mild anis flavor and very pleasant herby notes. The wormwood is present more on the palate than in the aroma, and yet, it is one of the least bitter absinthes I have tried. One should really not drink absinthe straight, but if you were to attempt something so foolish, this might be the one.
