Absinthe: Absinthe is traditionally a distilled, highly alcoholic (45%-75% ABV) beverage. It is an anise-flavored spiritderived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia Absinthium, also called wormwood. Absinthe has a characteristic natural green colour but can also be colourless. It is often called "the Green Fairy".

Absinthe Vieux Carre

A hand crafted American Absinthe from Robert Cassell, the master distiller who brings us Bluecoat Gin. This is a complex, double distilled absinthe with an almost perfumy aroma of fresh herbs, fennel and anis. So smooth at 120 proof that you could sip it straight, but that would not be responsible behavior.

Absinthe Obsello

One of the nicer Absinthes we have had. So smooth you can sip it straight. Of course, there is Anis and wormwood here but also a little mint accent. Not heavy or overpowering. As Absinthe goes, well priced.

Absinthe Marteau

The long awaited Absinthe from Gwydion Stone, founder of the Wormwood Society. Peridot green. Complex aroma that bears some similarity to Chartreuse.  The anis is subtle and the wormwood flavor is present but without the lingering bitterness of some absinthes. Truly exceptional.

Leopold Brother's Absinthe Vert

Leopold Brothers are micro distillers from Michigan. This one is also quite herby and they use green anise which produces a totally dry absinthe with a subtle licorice flavor .

$74.25

Kubler Absinthe

The true Swiss producer of Absinthe, Kubler has been making their product with the same formula in Val-de-Travers since 1863. Though not a green Absinthe, this is one of the most traditional products on the market.
