Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rose Languedoc 2009 France
Moulin de Gassac is a second label of Véronique and Aimé Guibert's, Mas de Daumas Gassac, one of the most highly regarded wineries in the Languedoc. The "Moulin" label is the result of the Guibert family's distress at seeing their neighbor's old, largely uncloned, vines being torn out. The contracted the growers to provide them with fruit up to Gassac standards. The result is some of the most true to place wines ever offered at these kind of prices. The rose is a blend of Syrah and Grenache. It's dry with moderate acidity and full of red fruit flavors.

Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rose Languedoc 2009 France
A crisp, light rose made from Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Negrette, comes from and area of the Loire valley known as Fiefs Vendéens Mareuil. We were so taken with it that we ordered up a bunch of it on the spot. The following is a Google translation of the wine that we found on the Mourat website. We couldn't have said it wierder ourselves:
He comes from a direct release of the same varietals. The dress, always "blue", almost carnal, is bright. The nose, very expressive, expresses all the aromatic potential of the soils of rhyolites. The palate is clean and fresh, which makes this wine a pleasure.
